Charisma Smart

Charisma Smart is a composite material created on the basis of the BIS-GMA matrix, which has light-hard and radiopaque properties. The manufacturer of this substance is Heraeus Kulzer GmbH from Germany. It is intended for restoration with natural shades with adhesive fixation. It is also suitable for use in the restoration of both anterior and lateral teeth. Also, this composite is used in restorations of damaged milk teeth or with periodontitis of classes 1-5 according to Black.

The composition of the substance includes:

• about 59% filler by volume;
• particles with a size of 0.005 - 10 μm (this is barium-aluminum-fluoride glass and highly dispersed silicon dioxide).

The Charisma composite has its own characteristics:

• shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1, B2, Dentine and I;
• do not expose to direct sunlight;
• store at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius;
• do not use the material after the expiry date;
• it is recommended to use with a blue light filter;
• the hardening time of the Dentin shade is 40 seconds with a layer thickness of 2 mm;
• the hardening time of other shades is 20 seconds with a layer thickness of 2 mm.
