Malifer machine protapers
Protaper Maillefer Universal system includes 6 tools, which are divided into two groups. The first group are shapers and the second group are finishing files.
Forming files are sometimes called "starter files".
Protaper Universal is used to give the root canal the desired form of machine processing. It includes files SX, S1 and S2.
Finishing files
Protaper with the index "F" or they are also called Finishers are used after the Start files for the final design of the apical third of the root canal, as well as for the alignment and expansion of the middle third of the canals. Likewise, the finished files have 3 tool sizes: F1, F2, F3.
Color coding of files helps to quickly remember and navigate the system. The color coding is the same and compatible with drying pins and root canal obturation.
ProTaper files have 3 tool lengths: 21, 25 and 31 mm.
